Toronto's Best Driving School

At Kruzee, we focus on making your path to a driver’s licence as smooth and stress-free as possible. Our modern online platform lets you book in-car lessons easily while connecting you directly with top-rated, ministry-certified instructors, reducing last-minute cancellations and scheduling headaches.

What truly differentiates our Toronto instructors is their advanced training in customer care and defensive driving strategies, ensuring lessons are both professional and practical. They also bring extensive experience navigating Toronto’s narrow downtown streets, heavy traffic, streetcars, and complex intersections. On top of that, we offer high-quality instruction at prices roughly 30% lower than comparable driving schools in Toronto.

Absolutely! Kruzee is an MTO-approved driving school in Toronto, meaning our curriculum meets the strict standards established by the Ministry of Transportation. In addition, all Kruzee instructors are carefully vetted and fully licenced to teach driving in Toronto. When you choose Kruzee, you benefit from a high-quality, ministry-approved curriculum along with the confidence and protections that come with enrolling in an MTO-approved driving school.

In Toronto, Kruzee operates under the municipal licence number B12-5217316.

Experience the convenience of booking driving lessons in Toronto fully online – no phone calls or back-and-forth texts required. Here’s how the process works in three simple steps:

• Enter Your Postal Code: Begin by entering your postal code so we can identify instructors available in your area.
• Choose Your Package: Select the driving lesson option that fits your needs, whether that’s a complete package or individual practice lessons.
• Pick Your Time and Location: Choose a lesson time and pickup location that’s most convenient for you. Your instructor will meet you there for your lesson.

We understand that flexibility matters when learning to drive in Toronto. You’re free to reschedule your lessons as often as needed, as long as the change is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. To remain fair to our instructors, any cancellation made within 24 hours requires a valid doctor’s note. Last-minute cancellations can significantly impact instructor schedules and earnings, which is why this policy is in place. The doctor’s note must be submitted within 30 days of the lesson date.

For road tests, we ask that you contact us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. We’re unable to accommodate changes made within 48 hours of the road test, as road tests typically require several hours of instructor time. Providing additional notice allows our instructors to properly adjust their schedules.

At Kruzee, we strive to provide the best possible learning experience for students in Toronto. We recognize that plans can change or unexpected situations may arise that prevent a student from completing their lessons.

In Toronto, all lesson credits must be used within one year from the original purchase date. This requirement follows the Ministry of Transportation’s regulations, which state that students must complete their Beginner Driver Education lessons within a one-year period. Unfortunately, unused lesson credits cannot be extended beyond this timeframe. We recommend booking your lessons as early as possible to ensure you’re able to complete your training within the allotted year.

At Kruzee, we take pride in delivering top-tier driving instruction in Toronto, which is why only the top 5% of applicants are selected to join our Toronto instructor team. Our rigorous hiring process is designed to ensure students receive the highest quality instruction available.

• Step 1 | In-Car Assessment and Teaching Evaluation: The process begins with a detailed in-car assessment that evaluates both teaching ability and driving knowledge. We also take time to understand the instructor as an individual, prioritizing qualities like patience, kindness, and a genuine commitment to education.
• Step 2 | Background Checks and Reference Verification: We then complete a thorough review that includes reference checks, analysis of past student feedback, and comprehensive background and vehicle safety checks. This ensures every instructor is both skilled and dependable.
• Step 3 | Licensing and Insurance Confirmation: Finally, we confirm that each instructor holds all required licences and insurance at the appropriate municipal or provincial level.

Since students in Toronto often spend over 10 hours in a car with their instructor, we place equal importance on teaching skill and personal fit. Our careful selection process is designed to make your learning experience with Kruzee exceptional.

Earning an insurance discount through the Beginner Driver Education (BDE) course in Toronto is a smart step for new drivers. Insurance providers recognize that students who complete an MTO-approved BDE program are typically safer drivers than those who do not. As a result, many insurers offer discounts ranging from 10–20% on your auto insurance for completing an approved course. These discounts can stay on your record for 3–5 years, leading to meaningful long-term savings. With new driver insurance rates often being 2–5 times higher than those for experienced drivers, any discount can make a significant difference.

To understand exactly how much you could save, it’s best to contact your insurance provider directly. As a Kruzee student in Toronto, you also receive access to 5 free auto insurance quotes through our partner, Walnut Insurance, helping you compare options and find the most cost-effective coverage.
